You see them everywhere: Satisfyer, Womanizer and everything in between. Here is what an air-pulse toy does and where the differences are.
How does it work?
An air-pulse toy does not vibrate in the usual sense. It makes small pressure waves around the clitoris, through an opening you hold on or just above it. So there is no direct contact with a buzzing surface.
Why beginners pick it
Many people find it both gentler and more intense than a regular vibrator. Most models have several intensity levels and are meant for the outside, so nothing has to go in.
Satisfyer or Womanizer?
Satisfyer is the well-known way in. The Pro 2 Next Generation has eleven intensities, is waterproof and costs a fraction of a Womanizer. Womanizer sits higher in price. The Premium 2 has Autopilot, which sets the intensity itself, and Smart Silence, which switches it off as soon as it leaves your skin. The Classic is the simpler model with eight intensities.
Check the seller
On the Dutch page of the Pro 2 Next Generation, a few reviews doubt whether the seller’s product is genuine. In Belgium Satisfyer sells it itself on bol. Always check who delivers, especially when the price is low.
How to use it
Start on the lowest setting, hold the opening just above the clitoris and adjust the pressure. Use it on clean, dry skin or with a little water-based lubricant. Clean it after use with warm water and mild soap.
